سبعة قتلى بغارة أميركية شرقي أفغانستان

قالت مصادر أمنية أفغانية إن سبعة مسلحين قتلوا بغارة شنتها طائرة أميركية دون طيار على منطقة بولاية كونر شرقي البلاد على الحدود الأفغانية الباكستانية.

وقال قائد شرطة المنطقة عبد الحبيب سيد خيلي، إن القتلى سقطوا إثر هجوم شنته طائرة أميركية دون طيار في وقت متأخر من مساء أمس الخميس على منطقة خاص كونر، واستهدف مجموعة مسلحين تنشط في هذه المنطقة منذ العام الماضي.

وأضاف المسؤول الأفغاني أن قائد المجموعة وابنه قتلا في الغارة التي استهدفت مجموعة من المسلحين كانوا يستقلون سيارة في هذه المنطقة المتاخمة للأراضي الباكستانية.

وتعتبر منطقة كونر على الحدود الأفغانية الباكستانية من أبرز معاقل التنظيمات المسلحة التي يرتبط أغلبها بـحركة طالبان، وتنشط هذه الجماعات بشكل رئيسي في المنطقة الحدودية.

يذكر أن حركة طالبان أعلنت في 24 أبريل/نيسان الماضي إطلاق ما تسميه هجوم الربيع من خلال عملية في ولاية قندز الأفغانية.
