الأمم المتحدة: تقارير مرعبة عن الاستيطان بالقدس

الأمم المتحدة دانت التوسع الاستيطاني الإسرائيلي في القدس الشرقية (غيتي)

دانت الأمم المتحدة اليوم الثلاثاء خطط إسرائيل لتوسيع الاستيطان في القدس الشرقية، مشيرة إلى وجود تقارير وصفتها بالمرعبة عن الاستيطان في المدينة.

وقال المتحدث الرسمي باسم الأمين العام للمنظمة ستيفان دوجاريك للصحفيين "نحن ندين تلك الإجراءات الأحادية الجانب (من قبل إسرائيل)، وقد اطلعنا على تقارير مرعبة بشأن التوسع الاستيطاني في القدس الشرقية".

وجاء تصريح المتحدث الأممي بعد أن كشف حزب الليكود اليميني الحاكم في إسرائيل -أمس الاثنين- عن مشروع قانون يهدف إلى ضم مستوطنات يهودية لمدينة القدس، ويخرج أحياء فلسطينية منها، لتكريس أغلبية يهودية فيها.

وقالت صحيفة "يديعوت أحرونوت" الإسرائيلية أمس إن وزير المواصلات يسرائيل كاتس، وعضو الكنيست يؤاف كيش -وكلاهما من حزب "الليكود"- أعدا مشروع القانون.

وأكد "كيش" -في تصريح مكتوب- "سنعزز الأغلبية اليهودية في القدس ونوسع سيادتنا على أحياء خارج السياج"، في إشارة إلى الجدار الإسرائيلي الذي يحيط بالقدس الشرقية من ناحيتها الشرقية المتاخمة للضفة الغربية.

وكانت تقارير إسرائيلية كشفت الأسبوع الماضي أن سلطات الاحتلال بصدد المصادقة على بناء نحو 1500 وحدة استيطانية جديدة في القدس الشرقية.
