وصف الكاتب الإسرائيلي ديفيد غروسمان الحرب الإسرائيلية على غزة بأنها إبادة جماعية، في مقابلة نشرت اليوم الجمعة في صحيفة لا ريبوبليكا الإيطالية.

وقال غروسمان "رفضت لسنوات استخدام هذا المصطلح… لكن الآن لم أعد أستطيع منع نفسي من استخدامه، بعد ما قرأته في الصحف والصور التي رأيتها، فضلا عن حديثي مع أشخاص كانوا هناك".

وأضاف غروسمان الذي تُرجمت أعماله إلى لغات عدة منها الفرنسية والإنجليزية والإيطالية "بألم بالغ وقلب محطم، أضطر الآن للاعتراف بما يحدث أمام عيني.. إبادة جماعية".

وأكد تمسكه "بشدة" بحل الدولتين، لعدم وجود بديل عنه، مشيدا في هذا السياق بنية الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون الاعتراف بدولة فلسطينية في سبتمبر/أيلول المقبل.

ومنذ أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2023، يشن جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي -بدعم أميركي- حرب إبادة على سكان قطاع غزة أسفرت حتى الآن عن استشهاد أكثر من 60 ألف فلسطيني وإصابة أكثر من 147 ألفا وتشريد سكان القطاع كلهم تقريبا، وسط دمار لم يسبق له مثيل منذ الحرب العالمية الثانية، وفقا لما وثقته تقارير فلسطينية ودولية.
