تعاني نحو ربع إدارات الحكومة الفدرالية بالولايات المتحدة من الإغلاق بسب توقف التمويل، حيث أصر الرئيس دونالد ترامب على استمرار الإغلاق الجزئي حتى يوافق الكونغرس على طلبه بناء جدار حدودي مع المكسيك، ومن المتوقع أن تستمر هذه الحالة عدة أيام بالرغم من احتفالات عيد الميلاد الرسمية.
