قال موقع "أن آر جي" الإسرائيلي إن حزب العمل الذي يقود المعارضة في إسرائيل شهد خلافات بشأن مستقبل حل الدولتين مع الفلسطينيين خلال إجراء مداولات داخل أطره التنظيمية.
وأوضح الموقع أن هناك أصواتا شبابية صاعدة في الحزب تطالب باستمرار الاحتلال الإسرائيلي للأراضي الفلسطينية، في حين يوجد قياديون آخرون يقولون إن الفلسطينيين مستعدون للالتزام بإعلان دولة منزوعة السلاح.
واعتبر الموقع الإسرائيلي أن هذه النقاشات داخل حزب العمل تشهد إعادة طرح الحل السياسي مع الفلسطينيين بديلا لاتفاق أوسلو، رغبة في إيجاد حلول تحفظ أمن إسرائيل.
وقال الجنرال يوم توف ساميه قائد المنطقة الجنوبية السابق في الجيش الإسرائيلي إن "الجري اللاهث وراء السلام مع الفلسطينيين أضر بحزب العمل"، وعبر عن معارضته "لمفردات من قبيل السلام الآن، لأنه لا يوجد أمر كهذا قابل للتحقق مع الفلسطينيين".
وأضاف ساميه أن تحميل إسرائيل مسؤولية استمرار الوضع الراهن مع الفلسطينيين لن يصل بحزب العمل إلى السلطة.
ونقل موقع "أن آر جي" أيضا عن المفكر الإسرائيلي غادي تاوب قوله إنه يجب التخلي عن تقديم فكرة حل الدولتين باعتبارها الإمكانية الوحيدة لحل الصراع مع الفلسطينيين، مؤكدا أنه "من الأهمية بمكان استمرار الاحتلال".
